MIMA Museum: History of Culture 2.0

Street Art in Central Brussels

I always love strolling through cities and randomly finding the coolest graffiti and murals. I’ve seen some amazing works in Europe, but believe me when I tell you that the street art in Brussel is in a different league. You will find the most vibrant and unapologetic pieces all around the busiest parts of the city.

Al Barmaki
Strassengastronomie
Rue des Eperonniers, 67

The best Lebanese restaurant in Brussels. Personally, I love Lebanese cuisine so this place was made for me. This restaurant is quite known in the capital and is, I think, the first Lebanese restaurant in Belgium. The Lebanese mezze will give you a fairly complete overview of what you eat.

Chyl
Strassengastronomie
Rue de Belle-Vue, 62

The spot "instagrammable" par excellence. More colorful dishes than the others and recently, the possibility of brunch on Saturday and Sunday. We eat organic and we find gluten free. The little plus non negligible, their organic grocery store full of bulk products.

Contrebande
Strassengastronomie
6 place fernand cocq

Belgian beer and organic canteen

Guy is one of the fugitives of Contraband. The escapees are five friends, all at one time or another through the Imagin'air's room, kitchen or bar, and all of them related in one way or another by the music, before to take this place together, to smuggle it.

Ici Neo-Cantine
Strassengastronomie
Rue Darwin, 35

The decor of this place is very beautiful. And this is not a coincidence, since it is the blogger deco Marine Gobled who designed it. Filament lamps that fall from the mosaic tile ceiling to mismatched chairs, here nothing is left to chance. It is also possible to buy dishes on site.

L'atelier en ville
Strassengastronomie
Rue Haute, 64

This concept store should please you if you like places that are out of the ordinary where you can eat as well as shopping fashion and decor. There is a brand of clothes that I love: Samsøe & Samsøe. The frame is gorgeous, with aged wooden tables, mosaic tiles and lots of plants. You can drink a cinnamon-ginger tea with a fig tart and the best of the best, doggies are accepted! Because going somewhere with a dog and more with a Maddox that does not hold up, it is almost impossible.

La Fabrique en Ville
Strassengastronomie
Parc D’Egmont (Quartier Louise)

The brunch is one of the best, recommend their iced tea in summer and their homemade granola at breakfast. The setting is idyllic and the decor of the place is dreaming. Without a doubt, a place that is recommend to 1000%, if the sun is there, it's even better.

Le Toast
Strassengastronomie
Rue Vilain XIIII 20

This stylish canteen now offers gourmet croques inside the Galeries cinema in Brussels.

Lloyd Café
Strassengastronomie
Avenue de la Couronne 443

Installed in the place of the former student restaurant "The Picotin cellars" in the cemetery of Ixelles, it was sorely lacking a place like Lloyd in the neighborhood.
